If you're having issues logging in to SmileBack before reaching the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) screen, please read our article on common login issues.
If you have no issue with your email address and password and experience problems with validating your verification codes, please try entering the authentication code again. If that doesn't work or isn't possible please follow these steps:
- Make sure your time and time zone are set automatically on your phone as that sometimes affects the performance of some authenticator apps.
- In case you lost your device, use one of the backup codes you saved during your 2FA setup.
- In case you lost your device and can't retrieve your backup codes, contact a colleague with account administrator permissions so that they can reset your 2FA.
