Can I use SmileBack on Project boards in ConnectWise Manage?
Yes you can!
Just as you add the SmileBack survey to be sent out in your closed ticket emails on Service Boards, so you can add it to Project Boards. When you receive reviews to Project Tickets they'll look the same as those from Service Boards in SmileBack, just with the name of the Project Board in the Segment column instead.
To add the SmileBack survey to your Project Tickets you follow the same steps as with service boards:
- Check your API member has the right security permissions to update Project Tickets as well as service ones - read this article for how to do that
- In your ConnectWise Manage account go to System then Setup Tables
- Find and open your Project Board and go to the Statuses tab
- Add the survey to your chosen status, this works the same as with service tickets, please check the article on that if you need a reminder
I don't want to send a survey for every ticket
That's fine too. If you just want to ask for feedback at the end of a Project Phase, or whole Project, you can create a status specifically for sending the survey (see above). Then when you want to survey your end user create a ticket asking them for their review.
